Five-year-old girl with ‘silver’ eyes makes miraculous recovery
A five-year-old girl has made a miraculous recovery after an ultra-rare syndrome meant her ‘silver’ eyes had to be removed.
Primrose Austin was adopted by US couple Chris and Eryn three years ago, and they were told at the time that the little girl was blind due to untreated congenital glaucoma, which had caused her eyes to cloud over.
Tests revealed she had 6p25 deletion syndrome which caused her eye complications, unique brain structure, lack of muscle tone and other problems.
