Four police officers were killed and four others were hurt during a standoff shootout in Charlotte. This reminds me to tell everyone that if you aren’t willing to get into a shootout with the bad guys, risking losing your life every day on the job, then maybe you should quiet down next time you think about criticizing police who do all the jobs we couldn’t handle.
There’s bad cops out there, sure. They’re rare and they make the all the good cops look bad. We can agree on that. But, the vast majority of police are the good guys. These guys swear an oath to protect and serve and when the sh*t hits the fan, they’re on the front-line in most cases. Take these cops in the video for example. They’re being shot at. They may not go home from work that day. In fact, four of them did NOT go home from work. Four families are sobbing right now because of the bad people on the planet who simply can’t follow our really easy laws to keep ourselves civilized.
These cops were serving a warrant and instead of answering the door in a respectful way, the suspect began shooting. The cops eventually took him out, but the guy claimed the lives of four people before cops could eliminate the threat. It’s messed up and we shouldn’t have to deal with this.

Four others were injured and who knows what happens next with them. All I’m saying is this – if you ain’t willing to do the job, then think twice before you criticize a police officer. You never know when you’re gonna need them. Thank them, respect them, and be glad you’re not the one putting it all on the line on a daily basis.
Remember folks, the cops have families. The criminals have families too. Neither family wants to see things end this way. It’s sad that anyone has to live this way, but here we are all screwed up. How about we start following the law, being respectful to our authorities, and get America back on track to being more civilized? We’ve lost our way, we’re out of control, and we need to fix it.
