Trump Fundraising Site CRASHES As Donations Pour In After Guilty Verdict

Websites for both former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, as well as the top Trump fundraising platform WinRed, crashed after former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s dubious “hush money” case.

Shortly after the verdict was announced, dozens of Trump’s most prominent supporters took to social media to announce that they would be donating to his campaign. “I just donated to Trump. The donation page crashed from traffic,” said newspaper artist and conservative commentator Scott Adams. “This is the hill to die on.”

“President Trump’s donation page just CRASHED because so many people are donating after he was just found GUILTY on all 34 counts in his SHAM TRIAL!” wrote investigative reporter Laura Loomer. Sure enough, WinRed remains down nearly an hour after the historic verdict was announced.

Former President Trump’s campaign hauled in massive donations each time he was indicted by Bragg, Biden DOJ special counsel Jack Smith and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis last year.

Last June, the campaign announced that it had collected $6.6 million from donors in the days following his indictment by special counsel Jack Smith on 37 charges of mishandling classified documents and obstruction of justice. Just a month prior, when Bragg announced what was the first of the four indictments, Trump raised $12 million in the days following the news.

The former president also enjoyed a major boost in the polls in the days and weeks following the flurry of indictments, a figure that has largely held through this point in the campaign cycle. It remains to be seen whether Trump will receive a similar boost after the conviction, or whether it will have the opposite effect.

“It was a rigged trial, it was a disgrace,” Trump declared outside the courtroom. “The real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people. They know what happened here. I am a very innocent man.”

The presidential frontrunner has vowed to appeal the verdict.
